There is a road off of the main highway that leads to a potash plant. This road wanders 16 miles through a beautiful canyon area along the Colorado river. As best we saw, this area is not part of any of the parks but we found it to be one of the prettiest areas we visited. There was a new wonderful view around every corner of the road. There was even one area where we stopped to view ancient Indian drawings on the walls right next to the road. If you ever are able to visit the Moab area, this is drive is a "must see".
